Senior Java developer

We are hiring a senior Java programmer to further develop the overall architecture and performance of our crawling technology to handle high volume data-crunching. We are looking for well-rounded developers who know how to create robust high-volume production applications, and can also develop prototypes quickly. You should have a good understanding of, and practical experience with, Java web application development.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of, and practical experience with, Java web application development.

• Experience in programming multi-threaded applications.

• Knowledge of performance related issues pertaining to Java applications.

• Knowledge of SQL.

• Working knowledge of XML web services.

• Experience working within Unix/Linux environments.

• MySQL, Berkeley DB, Hadoop, Pig and Lucene experience desired.

• Fluent English.
