Job description:
Reporting to the Technical Sales Director and member of our European technical sales management team, you will be responsible for building the technical sales support function of our new Romanian entity, which should count more than 100 total employees at the end of the first year.
Your role will include:
• Recruitment of talented technical sales support engineers.
• Implementation of local policies and processes to support the European technical sales business
• Leadership of a technical sales support team.
• Work with the Technical Sales director to prioritize and manage requests for support in sales campaigns.
• Develop the skills and capabilities of the Romanian technical sales team and ensure that the team develops their product knowledge.
• Provide internal technical leadership for customer projects involving significant configuration and customization
• Coordinate communication between the technical sales support team and customer facing individuals
• Occasionally support pre-sales projects on site at customer locations in Europe as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or computer science
- 5 – 10 years experience as a group leader or team leader within the software industry
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent English, French and / or German would be beneficial
- Past experience as a programmer in Java, JSP, JavaScript, C++, SQL, etc.
- Willingness to travel internationally
