Position Responsibilities:
• Day-by-day administration of the data and voice telecom infrastructure of the bank.
• Responsible for the security of the managed networks and devices.
• Second level support for data and voice telecom problems in a complex LAN / WAN architecture.
• Maintains the relationship with telecom providers and ensure timely installations and troubleshooting of outsourced telecom services.
• Evaluate current network designs and recommend changes to stay current with technology to maximize performance, stability and supportability while minimizing costs.
• Take responsibility that SLA objectives are being met according to defined fault priority level.
• Ensures in a pro-active manner the hardware and software security.
• Develop and maintain documentation for procedures relating to networks.
Key Requirements
• 4+ years experience in architecting, administering, troubleshooting and designing TCP/IP LAN/WAN technology solutions (more than 10 connected sites and more than 100 users).
• Experience in administering data and voice networks designed with CISCO technologies.
• Strong knowledge of: Dynamic Routing Protocols, Policy Routing, Firewall, Traffic shaping & QoS, Spanning Tree Protocol, SMTP.
• Ability and capacity to explore and learn.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills allowing one to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Attitude/Aptitudes:
• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Time management: able to work independently and balance daily operations with projects.
• Proactive and also a very good problem-solver.
• Flexible and able to work in high stress situations and/or off business hours.
• Customer oriented approach.
Additional skills
• Experience of working in a multi site environment.
• Prior experience in a 24/7, technology dependant production environment.
• Excellent command of English language.
• UNIX/Linux Knowledge - considered a plus.
• CCNA/CCIE/CCNP certifications or courses – considered a plus.
