Key Responsibilities:
- To provide IT support for ITO operating company according to the standards and guidelines of EE ITO IT.
- Maintain all IT solution with close cooperation with regional IT teams. Liaise with EE ITO IT staff for resolving issues relating to the telephony, servers & network, including LANs, internet connections and remote dial-up.
- Organize IT support to all ITO staff.
- Manage IT assets through all its life cycle in line with the company and local low standards.
- Secure company data and IT backups.
Requirements
- Maintain liaison with ITO Romania business and regional units. Understand local business needs. Identify opportunities and recommend solutions according to the company's EE standards that will enhance or improve current business processes.
- Participate in preparation of Iasi ITO IT budget and monitor spending appropriately.
- Organize cooperation with local IT partners. Follows up on faulty hardware and software purchases by pursuing warranty advantage through distributors and manufacturers.
- Escalate and route complex or unsolved problems to EE IT support specialists. Assist the EE IT Services groups, where applicable, in their support responsibilities.
- Perform hands on IT support acting as IT Specialist.
- Ensures software, hardware and network installs, re-installs, upgrades, moves, changes and relocations are made when necessary and as required.
- Assist on IT projects or special initiatives.
- Have understanding of LAN/WAN environments. Experience in Cisco products is a plus.
- Experience of working in a global IT organization is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well independently and on a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Fluent English.
