IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Candidate must have at least 5 years of software quality assurance experience in consumer and enterprise web technologies, with at least 2 years in management and/or lead capacity. Experience leading teams of up to 10 persons is desired. This position is in Cluj-Napoca and will report directly to the US office in the short-term.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / BENEFITS:
Responsibilites
• Manage responsibility for the entire Quality Assurance process including creating test cases for functional, performance and white-box testing; overseeing the execution of test plans; tracking, prioritizing and driving resolution of defects; and assuring that customers are experiencing the best quality.
• Establish the company’s software quality goals by working closely with the parent company in the US to understand business needs; Creating processes and methodologies to achieve such goals;
• Establish solid and professional communication with (and between) all stakeholders in Cluj-Napoca as well as in the US to create alignment on quality. Create a sense of trust between QA and all other teams.
• Identify and implement tools required for the Quality Assurance team to meet their objectives.
• Manage staffing needs and performance of the Quality Assurance team; Establish specific, measurable goals for employees and mentor them to succeed.
Qualifications:
• Have minimum 5 years of solid professional background in software quality assurance
• Experience with Java-based multi-tier web-applications is required. Experience with Flex/Flash-based applications is desired
