Responsibilities:

- develop functional and detailed design requirements

- write components for a variety of web based enterprise applications

- become involved in the full application development life cycle

- use well known open source frameworks

- work with highly concurrent applications in distributed environments

Requirements:

- university degree in Computer Science or similar

- minimum 4 years of professional experience with J2SE, at least 1 year
experience with JDK 1.5 or above

- excellent object oriented analysis and design skills (OOA/OOD)

- excellent algorithm & problem solving abilities and detail orientation

- extensive knowledge of EJB ( preferably 3.0), JPA , HTTP Servlets, JAXP (DOM, SAX/StAX), JAXB, WebServices, RMI, JDBC, SQL, XML

- extended knowledge of GoF patterns is required, along with knowledge about J2EE/Java EE design patterns

- good experience with Scripting tools like Ant and/or Maven

- knowledge of scripting languages like Javascript, JScript

- knowledge of Java/J2EE Security concepts

- development experience with Eclipse RCP, SWT/JFace, RAP – nice to have

- ability to design & develop more complex tasks and to mentor other team mates

- good written and verbal English skills

- knowledge of German language – nice to have

- good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
