Job Responsibilities
• Execution of database scripts, updates, performance analyses for a web-based application currently under development for Deutsche Telekom
• Software Deployment on various machines; check-up of release dependencies
• Configuration of updates and creation/extension of ANT scripts
Required Skills
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
• 2 years of experience with installation, configuration and administration of Linux-based OS.
• Scripting skills: SQL, PERL, Shell, XML, Ant, Maven, Log4J
• Working experience with large Databases: SQL, Oracle
• Exposure to software versioning tools: Bugzilla, Subversion
• Acquainted to large scale Java-based applications and Java-builds
• Because this position requires daily interaction with the customer, very good English and German skills are essential.
Desired Skills
• Use of an incident/change management system
• Exposure to ITIL-processes
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.25
