Technical Director for the Romanian local organisation

World leader in Social Network and Instant Messaging software for Mobile Phones

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
You will be in charge of the development of the local organisation (a start-up).
MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In charge of the R&D and Support teams (15 by end of 2010, potential 20 staff)
- Energetic and focused management of the local staff, driving achievements of every short term milestones
- Hands-on approach, with the capability to coach and support developers, and to contribute to the development activity
- Coordination and animation of the activity along the constraints imposed by timely Customer deliveries, with regular sprints
- Communication and integration with the Head Quarter structure to adopt common standards, practices, methodology and tools
- Work with own network and recruitment agencies to identify and qualify new employees
- Maintains close contact with resources to ensure churn is limited to a minimum
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous C++ development expertise
- Agile development methodology knowledge and experience
- Integrated Development Environment experience
- Previous experience in wireless phone application development
- Fluent English is a must, French is a plus
- Verbal and written communication skills mandatory
- Demonstrated leadership skills mandatory
