Mobile Application Engineer

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The adaptation and extension of core applications onto the specific environment of a new mobile terminal type.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Social Network and Mobile Messaging Client development and porting onto new handsets
- Design, implement and maintain Client components of MIYOWA’s product
- Investigate new technologies to improve current products and build new products
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge and experience in programming with C++ and / or / JAVA – J2ME
- Experience with client service or client/server development
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent team player
- Fluent written and spoken English skills
- Preferably a degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or other similar
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES TO YOUR BENEFIT:
- Experience with any other mobile technologies, like Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android, Maemo development, RTOS, …
- Experience with Wireless and standard Internet technologies, protocols and standards like, TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP, XML
- Experience with Java, Linux, and Windows technologies
- Experience with developing software for international markets
