Web Development Engineer

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The adaptation and extension of core applications onto the specific environment of a new mobile terminal type.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Web development for B to B and B to C platform
- Design, implement and maintain Client components of MIYOWA’s product
- Investigate new technologies to improve current products and build new products
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong background in programming
- Strong knowledge and experience in programming with Javascript, (X)HTML / CSS 2, PHP
- Experience with open social framework, but also javascript framework like jQuery, MooTools, scriptaculous
- Experience in cross browser development and design practices
- Experience with client/server development
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent team player
- Fluent written and spoken English skills
- Preferably a degree in computer science or other similar

- Experience with any other mobile technologies, like Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android, Maemo development, RTOS, …
- Experience with Wireless and standard Internet technologies, protocols and standards like, TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP, XML
- Experience with Java, Linux, and Windows technologies
- Experience with developing software for international markets
