Description:
Provide software-design and development for Erepublik.com (a massive on-line multi-player game) including new feature design and development, feature maintenance and bug fixing.Requirements:
Develop effective, maintainable code on time
Ability to analyse and optimize code for performance and memory usage
Strong communication skills
Strong ambition and drive
Proactive and detail oriented
Knowledge and interest in interactive web technologies
Proficient in PHP and object-oriented design
Proficient in SQL for the MySQL database server
Some degree of experience with the Symfony 1.0 / 1.2 Framework
Proficient in HTML, XHTML and CSS
Proficient in JavaScript
Optional requirements (would represent a bonus for the candidate):
Experience in designing or contributing to large, complex systems
Experience with internationalized, multi-lingual software development
Proven leadership ability
Some degree of experience with main stream MVC web development frameworks such as CakePHP, Code Igniter, WASP, etc…
Some degree of experience with main stream JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Prototype, Scriptaculous, etc…
Proficiency with any other main stream programming language
Proficiency with Git or any other popular versions system
General operation knowledge with Linux
C++ programming under Linux
