For one of our clients, a major financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, I am currently looking for a person for their Reference Data Practice Area Production Management Team, in Budapest.

Responsibilities:

• Configuration, deployment and verification of MSRD systems
• Escalation point for System Analyst team and liaison to the Development / Engineering MSRD team
• Outage Management – responsible for the technical resolution of incidents in the MSRD environment including LDAP, O2 and IDM
• Identification and creation of tools for improved monitoring of the environment
• Training and development of the System Analyst team to improve overall support coverage

Technical skills required:

• UNIX administration and system integration background
• Understanding of TCP/IP and client/server architecture
• Understanding of LDAP, Active directory or directory server infrastructure
• Solid understanding of SDLC
• Solid knowledge of make and ant utilities for building complex software systems

• Experience in maintaining Highly Available systems
• Experience with source control systems

Professional Skills Required:

• At least 3 years of professional work experience
• Strong trouble shooting/problem solving capability
• Kerberos, Sybase, DB2, Apache Tomcat
• Effective people skills for coordinating between developers, users, support personnel and internal clients
• Self starter, motivated and can work unsupervised
• Structured/organized approach to projects and able to set and meet delivery dates
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Understand and execute any part of a full production product cycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, production turnover, documentation and post- production support
• Able to work in a fast changing environment and work under pressure
