GESKIMO SRL – Software Developer & Digital Marketing Agency is looking for a mid to senior level web developer for a “jack of all trades”
internal development position. This is an onsite position in our Iasi office.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of full-time development experience with PHP & MySQL, and working knowledge of (X)HTML,
CSS & Javascript + AJAX.

This will be a challenging position that will require a very unique breed of developer. We are looking for someone who is hard working,
serious, able to respect deadlines (normal ones not the absurd kind) … Also analytical mind is required for “technology prototyping”
and discovery !

What You Will Do

• Help build out and prototype new ideas and applications leveraging PHP 5.x
• Use MySQL to build/query/run huge databases. Advanced MySQL experience. or Experience with Data Warehousing with MySQL
• Use AJAX to build web interfaces
• Troubleshoot and tweak HTML, CSS and JavaScript issues on a variety of platforms
• Serve as our main technology developer.

• Keen problem solving skills. (Troubleshooting CSS issues in IE6 does not make you weak in the knees.)

• Good English skills – Used to work driven by english specification documents

Technical Qualifications

• 3 or more years of strong web development experience. You should be very comfortable with OOP driven PHP.
• You have some working familiarity with a PHP framework like Zend, Symfony, Kohana or Yii.
• Use AJAX to build interactive web applications
• Working knowledge and familiarity with frontend web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX. (cannot imagine life with out Firebug)
• You need to use OOP concepts and application design principles.
• Working knowledge of RDBMS with the ability to write clean and efficient SQL.
• You should be comfortable with Linux command line basics
• Basic understanding of requirements gathering and documentation
• Version Control knowledge (CVS & Subversion)

Bonus Points for

• Data Warehousing with MySQL
• Systems tuning – Apache, PHP & MySQL
• jQuery Knowledge
• PHP Extensions Development (C programming)
• Used to work with request trackers (i.e. Mantis, BugZilla)
