We are seeking for a talented, ambitious and experienced senior software developer to become our colleague in our Cluj-based development team. You will work in a professional environment among other top notch, open minded, coffee addicts sharing the same goal: Building the next big thing.
The Faculte platform offers a suit of dynamic creation, publishing, distribution,collaboration, and management tools combined with content streaming and hosting services.

What would you do?

Develop functional and detailed design requirements.
Implement components for web based multimedia application.
Become involved in the full application development lifecycle.
Work with highly concurrent applications in distributed environments.
And most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team

Professional requirements

Strong knowledge of J2EE, SQL, XML, XSL, Javascript, Struts, Spring, Spring security, commons-apache
Experience in performing complete software project development cycle involving 3-tier architecture
object-oriented design, OO framework-based implementation, system architecture, software architecture, design patterns
Jboss appllication server experience

Mandatory:

• Computer Science bachelor degree or similar.
• At least 4 years of actual experience in J2EE based applications.
• Strong software development skills.
• Excellent in web development.
• Java EE web based programming:Struts, Spring, Spring security, Hibernate, JMS, Ajax
• Experience in working with MySQL.

Would be a plus:

• Working experience on multimedia encoding and streaming using any of: ffmpeg, mencoder
• Working experience with Apache and Lighttpd webservers
• Paypal API payments knowledge
• Working experience Lighttp webserver
