Java EE Developer
Experience/Education
• Candidates should have at least 2 years of application development experience, as well as at least a bachelor’s degree in an appropriately related field.
• Outstanding developers with less than the aforementioned experience are welcome to apply.
Preferred Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of Java and J2EE
• Strong OO concepts, Large project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of J2EE application servers, specifically JBoss AS
Knowledge of open source projects: Hibernate, Struts, Spring, Velocity, Maven, Seam, Drools, etc
• Working knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
General understanding of XML (SAX, DOM, STAX) and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL)
Non-technical Skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
