SAG is one of the biggest car parts suppliers for the aftermarket and owns branches in Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgian, Slovenia with a business volume of half billion euros.
We offer web content generation and call center services to Q-11, a well-backed, stable and friendly Ecommerce company in the automotive sector that deals with spare parts on the Internet through multiple channels. Q-11 stock, pack and deliver a very wide range of automotive products aimed at end-consumers. They have significant expansion plans that demand a small but effective IT development team liasing with external partners as required.
About the job
The position is exciting as it requires not only maintaining existing software but also creating new functionalities or systems, always in relation to our web shop and to its backend system.
Specific tasks that are part of the job
Webshop and Web Application Developer for a Tomcat, Java, MySql, Linux System.
Administration and Configuration of OpenSuse Linux incl. Tomcat Server.
Import and Export Data into and from Non-Java Systems.
Handle Backup, Mails, Logfiles, Firewall, Server Security.
Programming skills requirement
Java, JSP.
Tomcat Server.
Linux (OpenSuse 11) + Bash.
MySQL.
One of two languages is required
German (preferably), English (as an alternative).
Nice additions to the required profile
Apache Server experience.
Script Language knowledge like PHP or Perl.
HTML, AJAX, CSS, JAVASCRIPT.
