Brainient is seeking a Frontend Web / Javascript Developer to join our research & development team. The position is full-time and it’s based in our office in downtown Bucharest, Romania. You will be working with the rest of our team to create an HTML5 compatible video client version of our interactive advertising platform.

Responsibilities

• Work with our CTO in order to design, create, execute and deploy an HTML5 compatible version of our interactive advertising technology
• Develop interactive layers to be used by our customers that support HTML5 video

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience
• Ability to write reusable and scalable classes & components
• Deep understanding of the DOM model, rendering engines across various browsers and their quirks, event models, web service requests, callbacks, and object inheritance
• CSS experience
• HTML5 (canvas, video, offline storage) knowledge is a plus
