ANTAL International, a major executive search company with a global presence and also one of the leading companies in the Romanian recruitment market is looking for a Database and Configuration Analyst, for one of its clients.
Job Responsibilities:
•You are performing an integration role in the build- and config-team for a Java web-based application currently under development for our client – a telecom company.
•Execution of database scripts, updates, database performance analysis Software Deployment on various machines taking into account release dependencies
•Configuration of updates and creation/extension of ANT scripts
Required Skills:
•Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
•2 years of experience with working and configuration on Linux-based and Unix-based OS.
•Specific skills: SQL, Shell, Ant
•Exposure to software lifecycle tools: Bugzilla, Subversion
•Because this position requires daily interaction with the teams in Germany and India, very good English and German skills are essential.
Desired Skills:
•Use of an incident/change management system
•PERL, XML, Log4J, Maven and Hudson build-tool
•Exposure to ITIL-processes
•Acquainted to large scale Java-based applications and Java-builds
•Working experience with Oracle Databases (execution plans, indexes, triggers and internal DB-organization)
•Knowledge of Oracle 10g database or comparable database Server
•Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.25 or comparable Application Server
Available to travel for at least 3 months in Frankfurt for training purposes. During this time, the lack of specific knowledge of WebSphere will be covered.
Our client is an important IT company which is currently expanding its development and testing team from the Bucharest office, for one of its clients – a German telecommunication company.
