IT Customer Solutions Engineer

ANTAL International, a major executive search company with a global presence and also one of the leading companies in the Romanian recruitment market is looking for an IT Customer Solutions Engineer, for one of its clients - an international company providing IT solutions for industrial, banking and service automation.
Responsibilities:
-Search and implement solutions which are answering specific customer problems;
-Search and implement solutions which are improving the customer experience: help-desk tools, process management tools etc.
-Installation configuration of company's own and 3rd party applications at customer sites (clusters, application servers, load balancers);
-Documentation of the solutions (configuration made, step by step document covering complete procedures);
-Creating administrator and user manuals, usage video-tutorials;
-Testing the: own applications; 3rd party applications and integrated solutions.
-Issue handling: analyzing logs when issues occur on the field; searching solutions and/or forwarding to the development team; tracking the bug-fixing process; testing patches received from the development team.
-Build and enhance business applications: involvement in analysis process and review of the analysis documents;
-Contribute to and maintain system standards;
-Perform proof of concepts and assess and evaluate technology solutions;
-Liaise with Sales and Solutions teams to ensure maximum leverage of
innovation in the organization.
Requirements:
-Fluency in English;
-Good knowledge and experience of Linux/Windows OS: installation, configuration, fine tuning;
-Good knowledge on networking:
-OSI model and TCP/IP
-routing, NAT and firewall concepts
-Bash/Java/VB scripting;
-Knowledge on WMI (Windows Method Instrumentation) would be a plus;
-Programming knowledge in .NET or Java or Python would be a plus;
-Knowledge on ITIL basic concepts or ITIL foundation certification would be a plus;
-Flexibility is essential in order to adapt to changes in requirements and priorities: intelligent, correct and elegant algorithmic thinking, thriving for quality and selfimprovement, responsible, dedicated, loyal, hardworking, optimistic, sense of humor, calm, discipline.
