Responsibilities:
As a senior web developer you will bring your experience in JavaScript and AJAX along with your knowledge of server-side design to help guide the architecture and implementation of our web client. You will work closely with product designers and product management to develop optimal solutions to business problems. While your focus will be on the client side, your sphere of influence will cover the entire application including the server side architecture.
• Design, implementation and maintenance of user-friendly, complex structured web pages.
• Analyze functional requirements through close interaction with Product Management and the rest of the team.
• Collect and synthesize feedback from diverse sources.
• Fulfill multiple responsibilities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Requirements:
• BS or MS in computer science or related field.
• Significant experience in Web Development, JavaScript, AJAX.
• Very high technical competence with strong programming background.
• Knowledge of software design and programming best practices.
• Ability to define, model and document user requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Hands-on any JavaScript framework (extJS, YUI, jQuery, prototype …).
• Object oriented programming skills with Java (desirable), C++ or C#
• Basic database knowledge (MySQL).
• Experience with large projects.
