- Senior Developer/Consultant
• Job description
o You will have substantial personal responsibility and autonomy. You will plan your own work to meet given objectives and processes. You will have to influence team, and specialist peers internally. You will have to influence customers at account level and suppliers. Your decisions will influence the success of projects and team objectives.
o You will be involved in a broad range of complex technical or professional work activities, in a variety of contexts.
o Works under general direction within a clear framework of accountability. Substantial personal responsibility and autonomy. Plans own work, to meet given objectives and processes.
o Influences team, and specialist peers internally. Influences customers at account level and suppliers. Some responsibility for work of others and allocation of resources. Participates in external activities related to specialisation. Decisions influence success of projects and team objectives.
o Selects appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications and use. Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to problem solving. Communicates fluently orally and in writing and can present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Is able to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets and in accordance with health and safety procedures. Is able to absorb rapidly new technical information and apply it effectively. Good appreciation of wider field of information systems, its use in relevant employment areas and how it relates to the business
o You will work on the customer side in a mix team with both Endava and Customer people.
• Skill set (required)
o SOA
o Java SE experience min 4-5 years
o Java EE experience min 3-4 years
o Web Services
o Spring framework, Spring integration experience
o Good JMS, Messaging experience
o Hibernate
o Knowledge of running application on IBM Servers (e.g. WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus)
o Enterprise Architect experience
o Motivated and dependable, has initiative, understands responsibility, team player
o Very good written and spoken English communication skills
o Web portal
o Active directory, LDAP
o Developing front end application using JSF, spring framework
o Good knowledge with Unix, SQL
o IT degree is mandatory
