OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
To check the quality of Blackberry handsets and ensure that they conform to client specifications.
Business Environment
Clean, ESD compliant, Standing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform end of line inspection both at a dedicated inspection area and also at the end of an assembly line. A defined process will be trained out that must be adhered to without exception.
The work will vary between a 100% inspection and a 10% inspection dependant on Customer requirements.
The Inspector will be responsible for Handsets meeting the specifications laid down by the customer both with feeler gauges and through visual inspection
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
Experience of using feeler gauges (tools for measuring)
Experience of working to standardised operating procedures (SOP)
Good attention to detail
Methodical and accurate
Basic spoken English
Intermediate written English
Desirable:
Inspection back ground
Mobile phone back ground
Experience of working in an ESD environment
