Wixi.com is looking for a junior / semi-senior Sysadmin with experience on LAMP and system monitoring
Required skills:
- Experience on: Linux Centos, Debian, Ubuntu, Apache, MySQL, PHP
- Experience with monitoring tools: Nagios, Cacti
- Fluency in English
Desirable knowledge:
- Experience as DBA, tuning, indexes
- Experience on high availability and massive traffic sites: Memcached, Redis, Tokyo, Varnish, Sphinx, Lighttpd, Nginx
The position consists of:
- Install and manage Linux systems
- Work and interact with the development and QA team, to maintain and develop a set of products
- Provide support to the dev team
- Install new software, updates, and evaluate or install patches and make backups
