Project Description:
Come play at EA and work on a brand new, online PC shooter video game! Work with the innovative video game talent at EA’s European studios and create a unique online experience for gamers everywhere! Learn a lot, play a lot and conquer the video game space. Enlisting volunteers for duty today.
Primary Responsibility:
Main technology driver for game development
Understands all aspects of game development engineering, especially on PC
Build game by utilizing underlying game systems
Participate in the planned changes of the code to make changes to gameplay or other areas that needs changing
Lead person to direct and mentor junior software engineers
Cerinte:
Must have a solid understanding and skills with low level programming and gaming systems - Rendering, Networking, Physics, AI, Game Play, UI/Front End, DX9, DX9 SDK
Strong math skills
4 years Game Industry experience and at least 6 years Software Development experience in any industry
Needs to understand all aspects of making a game
Excellent skills in Object Oriented design and programming with C++ and STL with MS Visual Studio [2005]
Experienced with Version Control systems, preferably Perforce
Quality-driven
Well developed coaching skills to train junior programmers
Experience leading a programming team
Fluent written and spoken English
This would make a candidate stand out: C#, Flash/Action Script, Build engineering skills, experience of version control systems
