uberVU is a service that helps companies and individuals alike organize the social media clutter in which they have a stake.
We're responsible with indexing and searching through millions of conversations from Twitter, Facebook, blogs, forums per day. We're using Python, Django, MySQL, MongoDB, Tokyo Cabinet, Memcached, Kestrel, Linux and lots of external APIs to aggregate, process and present this data to our customers.
We're looking for backend engineers. Come join us if you're passionate about data, coding, social media, big data sets and scaling architectures. You'll be working in a lean startup environment with really flexible work hours and rewarding challenges.
You'll be in charge with developing and maintaining uberVU's backend services. This means designing & implementing new systems, while making sure they are scalable, robust and manageable.
