The responsibilities of the selected resource will include, but will not be limited to:
QA testing, including the design and execution of test plans and procedures for the acceptance testing of new or
modified application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software,
hardware technology and tools, etc.
Consulting & Communicating with Development and Operations groups in reference to the area of quality control
Establishing & enhancing effective test plans, scripts & expected results
Essential skills:
Experience in all stages of Software QA testing including Functional, Regression, Integration and Performance
Well versed in creating and/or maintaining documentation, including test plans, expected results, validation
proofs, & performing analysis
Experience interfacing with Development, QA & Operations resources as related to test planning & coordination of
reporting cycles, parallel or crossover scenarios & overall coverage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively & efficiently with others
Self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities and projects. Job may entail supervision of other QA
resources.
Maturity to have reporting lines to Director level associates
Proficiency in writing complex SQL Queries (UDB and SQL Server)
Highly experienced in VB scripting, as a tool to manipulate and validate large quantities of data
Proficiency in Excel worksheet functions (formulas, macros)
Unix knowledge - running autosys jobs, scripting (perl, shell, kornshell)
Knowledge in automated testing using QTP software. Ability to write QTP scripts and not just Record and Play
option.
Familiarity with MS Office products
Experience with Quality Center
Experience with PVCS Version Manager
