Our client is a multinational company, one of the principal arbitrage trading houses worldwide. Responsibilities: As a C++ developer, you work in a dynamic environment, developing, maintaining and optimizing a wide variety of applications for our international electronic trading processes, order management, execution and risk management. Because the trading framework is built in-house for accessing and trading markets all over the world, you will learn on the job and gradually take on more responsibilities. As a member of small, multidisciplinary project teams, you analyze business requirements and issues and provide adequate solutions. You are encouraged to proactively advise on system improvements, work close to the business, and quickly expand your professional horizon. Requirements: good knowledge of software development paradigms: object-oriented concepts, multitasking, synchronization, networking, real-time data processing; knowledge of cross platform C++; relevant university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics or similar; outgoing, decisive, analytical, innovative and creative and have a commercial drive; service-minded attitude and understand freeedom comes with responsibilities; interest in financial markets and electronic trading; fluent in English; good knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions, plug-ins, macros, such as RTD, would be considered a plus.
