Overview of your role inside the team:
As a Software Quality Engineer at Pentalog and having a strong practical experience of minimum 1-2 years, your added value will be your constant awareness of what the customers need and your self-confidence in ensuring the quality throughout the product development life-cycle.
More concrete details on what you will do:
- Understanding the functionality of an application;
- Analysing the functional requirements;
- Bug-tracking, bug prioritization;
- Conceiving and writing the testing plans and scenarios;
- Manual and automatized testing;
- Writing reports based on the testing results;
- Providing feedback to the development teams and ensuring the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements: report test results, enter problems and issues into the bug database, update bug reports as needed including bug report closure;
- Offering solutions and alternatives in order to reach a maximum performance and ergonomics.
Requirements:
- Very good understanding of the functional specifications of a product and of the life-cycle of an IT project;
- Previous relevant software testing experience (manual and automatic) – 1-2 years
- Working experience with issue tracing systems;
- Knowledge in Database and OOP concept;
- Experience with bug-tracking management tools;
- English is mandatory;
- Very good communication skills, problem solving attitude, flexibility, team work spirit.
