//overview
wilkins lee is in need of an experienced and detail-oriented intermediate actionscript 3 developer.

//responsibilities
You would be responsible for contributing to our:

• Client & Experimental sites and applications
• Installation & Interactive Environment platforms
• AS3 framework libraries.

//requirements

• expert knowledge of Advanced ActionScript 3.0 (past experience with AS2 considered an advantage)
• Adobe Flex 2/3
• experienced in object oriented ActionScript development
• ability to implement object oriented ActionScript principles from concept through development/expert knowledge of Flash integration w/ server-side technologies (XML, PHP, ASP.NET, etc.), knowledge of serer side scripting languages is not required.
• expert knowledge of Flash video (streaming and progressive)
• flash media server, adobe flex, motion graphics experience etc a plus
• understanding of current Flash trends and best practices – Flex, Air, etc.
• must have strong creative portfolio featuring polished design, interactivity and core functionality/competency in Adobe Fireworks and/or Photoshop, Illustrator and ability to create complex storyboards, styleframes, etc.
• expert knowledge of optimization and testing (including optimization for banner ad placements)
• experience working within a team on both creative and project management side

//professional competencies

• minimum of 2-4 years experience building and programming complex flash-based platforms.
• familiar with various technologies such as flash, html, xml, db, mobile solutions, web2.0 etc
• video production experience
• excellent communication skills in English. Both written and oral

• work well under pressure and keep focused on objectives and goals
• excellent problem solving skills
• fully understand, support and oversee the creative process and vision
