Project description
A dedicated team of engineers provides high-quality software testing services to one of the largest medical and healthcare insurance companies from U.K.
Job description
o Your main responsibilities will be to test software systems, you will review and analyze documentation/specifications and understand the business requirements.
o You will contribute to test planning, identify, write and peer review test cases based on the specifications, identify and create test data, run and execute tests according to plan, build test reports.
o You will identify and report defects, track and retest defects.
o You will provide constructive criticism and contribute to lessons learned for future releases and projects, help with task allocation and tracking if delegated by the TL, review and enforce the quality of tests written within your team, tutor junior testers.
Cerinte:
Mandatory skills:
o Good knowledge of the software testing lifecycle;
o Active experience in functional testing;
o Experience in test data preparation using XML;
o Experience with test design from use cases;
o Experience in using HP Quality Center
o UML knowledge
o Strong analytical and organizational skills; attention to details
o Good knowledge of SQL in Oracle DB
o Ability to understand business processes;
o Motivated and dependable, has initiative, understands responsibility, team player;
Desirable skills:
o Involvement in test planning, test analysis, estimations;
o Load and stress testing experience;
o Experience in test automation – preferably HP Quick Test Professional
o Experience in using SQL / PL SQL in Oracle DB
o ISTQB Certifications.
