Position summary:
We are an European IT service provider and we are proud to be considered among the European leaders in the offshore IT development. For a complex and challenging project in partnership with a major software producer, we are looking for dedicated and highly prepared specialists for Senior Embedded C Software Developer job openings.
Inside a team of highly specialized software developers, testers and technical leaders, your mission will be to deliver high-quality products according to the company standards.
As a Senior Software Developer your core responsibilities will be the following:
- Pointing out issues within the existing architectures & codes on different projects and providing high-level solutions
- Acting as an adviser and mentor for other less experienced team members if necessary
- Definition of Software Architecture for final solutions
- Software integration deliverables
Other responsibilities include:
- Responsible for software development of medium/high complexity functions
- Constantly searching for useful information in order to better respond to the client needs
- Writing, compiling, debugging and executing source code, algorithms and data structures
- Able to deliver high quality solutions to agreed specifications and within agreed timescales
- Writing technical specifications for an effective implementation
- When necessary, code re-factoring in order to optimize the application
- Proactive attitude in identifying soft related problems and suggesting optimization solutions
- Writing documentation and reports for all development work undertaken
Requirements :
- IT University degree
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development in embedded
- Expert level of ANSI C development
- Embedded system knowledge and automotive system know-how is a plus
- Knowledge of Matlab
- Knowledge of HW and microcontrollers
- Knowledge of measuring equipment
- Software testing methodology knowledge is a plus
- Good communication skills (both written and spoken) in English – mandatory
- Ability to analyze and syntheses a software solution
- Rigorous, proactive, result oriented and highly organized people – these characteristics are important guidelines in selecting our team members
- Good team player, able to support others on technical topics.
