Verticalwave Solutions is looking for an experienced PHP programmer to join our team remotely(working from home or own office).
This person will be responsible for developing high-end web application using OO PHP frameworks such as ZEND/CakePHP and working together with a development team from Toronto, Canada.
At least 3 years of experience working on a large PHP framework based project
Strong programming capabilities in PHP, MySQL and Javascript
Experience using the Zend Framework will be considered an asset
Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns and unit testing
Very technical and technologically savvy with excellent communication abilities
Substantial knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments
Strong distributed systems and architecture knowledge, and experience with multi-tiered mission-critical systems preferred
This is a contract(3-6 months) position with the possibility of Full-Time employment.
