At this point in your career you have already gathered at least 4 years of solid experience in Java programming. You are self-confident when it comes to your Java J2EE technical background.
You would enjoy working on ambitious project, to create (not only to modify) a complex ERP – one of the very few that are being developed in Romania.

Your role inside the team:

This group of companies has built a strong tradition in integrating and delivering services from various fields of activity: transport, telecommunications, industrial & civil engineering, etc. In a close partnership with over 13 companies and with a presence on several continents, the entire activity of the group relies on a strong IT team. The important role of the software engineers is recognized even at a strategical level.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will actively participate in several interesting projects. One of them is a very important development ERP that you will be involved in and it includes different modules (human resources, financial, accounting etc). The project is unique as complexity in Romania and is also one of the few at this level, even for the French development market. Beside this, several other IT projects will be in your attention.

As part of the team and using the very newest technologies (JSF, EJB3), your core responsibilities will be to:

Write technical specifications for an effective implementation;
Develop and monitor the modules that you will be assigned for;
Deliver high quality solutions to agreed specifications and within agreed timescales;
Involve in related testing and bug-fixing activities;
Acting as an adviser and mentor for other less experienced team members if necessary.


What you need in order to join the team:
Computer science university background;
Very good expertise in Java with a minimum 4 years of previous experience;
Strong knowledge in J2EE (EJB3, JSF, JMS);
Previous experience with any of the following technologies, will be a strong advantage: Ajax, Web services, Flex, Jboss;
Knowledge in Eclipse, SVN, Maven, Mantis, Junit is also a plus;
Fluency in English; French is a plus.
